Hi, hope everything is well! Since our last communication, we’ve been working diligently to advance both our product and community. I’d like to share some recent updates with you, and we’re very much looking forward to further discussions.
We have engaged in technical exchanges with several international automotive manufacturers and autonomous driving technology companies. They have shown strong interest in our HD Map and 3D data, resulting in the acquisition of 3 LOIs：
From Alibaba's Taobao And Tianmao Group, we provided generated 3D data for training their models:
From the Apollo Go (Baidu's subsidiary) Team, we have customized and generated annotated 3D data based on the information they provided:
From the Baidu Maps Team, we provided HD data samples collected in Japan:
We have also been in discussions with Volkswagen and Daimler, and both have shown strong interest in our data. We expect to secure a testing contract after reaching the first 1 million kilometers.
User Acquisition Through our waitlist, we have successfully attracted over 200 initial test users. These users are located in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia and have extensive experience in Map-based DePIN projects.
Discord Development Within two weeks, we onboarded a significant number of early users to our Discord community. These users include early adopters, mods, and distributors from other map-based DePIN projects. We have established strong partnerships with the community and held our first AMA session.
Inclusion in Messari DePIN Sector Map (2024) We were recently included in the 2024 Messari DePIN Sector Map.
Hardware Production (TarantulaX, AKA TX mini) We are currently in the process of producing the first batch of test devices. We expect to ship the first batch by the end of August, with global testing set to begin in mid-September. Testing is expected to be completed by the end of October, and depending on the progress, we plan to release city-level HD Map data at that time.
App Development Our Android and iOS apps are currently undergoing final testing. We anticipate releasing them alongside the hardware at the end of August.
We tested our software processing capabilities and system integration in a closed environment the day before yesterday, and everything is progressing well so far.
Test at night is also a feature of our technology.
